Influenced by the composition of medieval woodcuts, William Morris designed Bower in 1877 as a vibrant tribute to the forest walks and flowers he so adored. Bough’s Green/Rose is the closest colour story to Morris’s original, whilst Indigo and Herball offer cooler variations.
