PRODUCT INFORMATION

Vitality is a blend of naturally grown mushroom extract. A proprietary water extract of Turkey Tail, Reishi, Shiitake, Maitake, Chaga, Artist Conk and Red Belted Conk, with Astragalus Root and Ashwagandha preserved in organic, vegetable glycerin.

These medicinal mushroom extracts are hot water tripled extracted from the fruiting bodies of fungi cultivated and wild-harvested in North America. There are (at least)350mg of mushroom extract in 1mL.

WHERE MYCODOGS MUSHROOMS COME FROM

Mushrooms arebio-accumulators(meaning they absorb toxins from polluted air and environment), so MYCODog searched for mushrooms grown in their natural habitat in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. It is important to source mushrooms from an area that is least likely to be impacted by environmental toxins which might be absorbed by the mushrooms.

Turkey Tail(Trametes Versicolor)

The best-researched medicinal mushroom, with several controlled clinical trials demonstrating its increased long-term survivability in patients with gastrointestinal cancers, and to a lesser degree other cancers, with oral application of concentrated extracts of the fruit bodies and mycelium, particularly PSK and PSP. Theres a wide range of immunological effects in vitro and in vivo, particularly reticuloendothelial system activation, cytokine modulation (IFN- production, IL-2 production), enhancement of dendritic cell viability, T-cell maturation, natural killer cell activity, antibody production, and anti-tumor and anticancer effects. The extracts can inhibit carcinogenesis and tumor cell growth by activating cancer cell apoptosis.

Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum)

Reishi mushrooms are known as the mushroom of immortality, and for good reason. Reishi mushrooms have anti-aging and rejuvenating properties, inhibit histamine release, induce apoptosis, improve cognitive function, and help to calm stressors. Clinical research supports their medicinal properties which include immune system support, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, control blood sugar, regulate blood pressure, protect and detoxify the liver, relieve allergies, support the kidneys and have anti-cancer properties.

Shiitake (Lentinula Edodes)

Maitake (Grifola Frondosa)

Chaga (Inonotus Obliquus)

This mushroom has become renowned for its use in supporting the innate function
of the immune system, and assisting the body with oxidative stress. Some of the
earliest uses of chaga mushrooms were for ulcers, stomach pain, and inflammatory
bowel disease. Its believed that the immune-stimulating traits of Chaga help balance
the gut bacteria and ease ulcers and gastritis. Chaga mushrooms can help regulate
blood sugar levels for animals with diabetes.

Artist Conk (Ganoderma Applanatum)

Sometimes referred to as White Reishi, Artist Conk shares a lot of common
benefits with its cousin Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) due to similar constituents
shared between them. This mushroom supports skin and spleen health, as well as
respiratory function. It also supports circulation, cardiovascular health, and the
bodys inflammation response.

Red Belted Conk (Fomitopsis Pinicola)

Supports the immune system and promotes a healthy inflammatory response, with
a special affinity towards the digestive tract. It has also shown efficacy in protecting
the body against oxidative stress, supports a healthy histamine response, optimal
digestive functioning, a healthy inflammation response in the gut, the bodys innate

Astragalus Root

Stimulates the spleen, liver, lungs, circulatory, and urinary system. Its also used to treat osteoarthritis, asthma, and the nervous system. Reduces stress and aging by protecting the telomeres (structures linked with aging, located at the end of each chromosome).

Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera)

Has a positive effect on the endocrine, nervous, immune and cardiovascular systems by regulating metabolism and helping relax by calming how your dog responds to stress.
